I think the decline in Black presence on radio is due to a shift in music tastes.

HOWEVER, the whole thing about White artists profiting way more from Black music than Black artists has been a recurrent them in Pop history for like ever. Of course Iggy and JT and Eminem are slaying everyone else lol

Well I mean unfortunately that's how it has always been. But not to worry u guys will come up w the next innovative music and will shine for a while until whites copy u again. At least u guys are always dominating pop culture.

Right.

People forget that at one point, R&B was almost like pop at radio. It was being played everywhere. Then that declined, and Rock exhaled it's last breath in 2003/2004. Iggy is just the Queen of Rap.

It's all media propaganda. America is no less or more racist than it has always been media is just igniting the fire is all. Getting people to open up and talk. Trust me majority of my friends are not black and they are just as mad at all this racial mumbo jumbo as blacks.

Also Obama being president gave some ignorant people to use the excuse (Well a black man is president so America can't be racist.) Newsflash, Obama didn't get every single vote for himself, there are still many racist.

Honestly, I don't think this will end until ALL blacks find a collective way to quell it.Put down the WSHH and Instagram,STAND YOUR ASS IN LINE AND VOTE for starters.People,some these racially insensitive whites in Congress wouldn't be here if this would have happened.

Bill Cosby may have more coverage than your run of the mill white rapist,but he brought it upon himself. The black community as a whole ain't gonna stick up for him,Especially when a man who is supposedly a role model for our community has a history of making some pretty racial rants.

Im actually from Cameroon. Though I was raised in the US I still know that my lineage is from Cameroon. I know the tribe and am aware of the language and customs. During family events our native tongue is spoken most commonly. My mother seldom speaks english at home. Black Americans dont have that oppurtunity. The most they can know is their country of origin, but so many questions are left unanswered.

That must be really nice. I wish I had that.

I'm stuck having to claim a country I detest, a language I don't care for, and a culture that originated from struggle.
