These Madoner demos I hate to say this but she needs to cancel this album, save what little she can and quickly start over. She's already 55, I hate to be one of those people but for her to tour to her standards she can't wait another 3 years for the next album, this one needs to be perfect and worthy of being in her discography and with an amazing tour supporting it. This Avicii/Diplo thing is just not working at all, I would suggest going with Robin Schulz, whose sound really really fits her and is really easy to write over, and doing the whole album with him. She needs to go back to one producer an album like RoL/Music/Confessions.

Not agreeing with Gaga, but things that inspire nostalgia more often than not tend to be things that define an era.

I know she's going to be around forever, I'm talking about who's gonna be front and centre of the pop culture paradigm at certain points in time. It's Taylor's time right at the very top right now, but give it 2 years and someone else will be taking front and centre.

Britney had her time front and centre, Gaga did, Katy did, Bieber did. Each of these had probs 2 eras of zenith-ness. Taylor hasn't felt absolutely essential and core to pop culture until 1989 though you can't discredit how big she was before that.

Didn't GMAYL also leak months in advance? I remember cuz her fans insisted that it was an early demo and the final would be way different.

How can someone who is so in control of every aspect of her career allow for this to keep happening?

I know. She has the demand to do a stadium tour across all the major cities in Australia if she wanted to on top of the 350k tickets she already sold from 23 sold-out dates.
I don't see her going back until her next tour, but don't be surprised if she is doing multiple stadium shows in each city.
As far as the US, yeah she could do a second leg there, but I don't think she will. Her Asian/European/South American legs will take up the majority of next year and she's itching to release new music. However, her team may persuade her to do it after the Super Bowl exposure.
Either way, she needs to disappear for a good 10 months at least before dropping the acoustic record.

Britney was the top female artist from 1999-2001 and then kind of fell off, but she still maintained to be one of the biggest musical acts until 2005. Then she peaked media wise from 2005-2008, and came out with Circus. Far from a fad, but yes, she's a nostalgia act in 2014.
