I forgot to mention, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE CARRIERS. Sorry for the title typo.
You can start with T.S like:
"_________ is the best because...
__________ is horrible because...
II. Both
______________ & ________ are the best...
_________ & _________ are okay...
__________ is bad., but ____________ is better because...
___________ is good. But ____________ is bad because..
The Jump Insurance, the no contracts, good customer service, decent prices... I guess the only negative would be their questionable insurance, but they're getting better and at least they have the option of WiFi calling when you don't have good reception.
If I had a choice I'd use T-Mobile since their ethics and prices are great but Verizon and AT&T are the only ones I have in my area. I prefer Verizon because we have LTE here even though my town only has 3k people.
AT&T has awful customer service, Sprint has awful coverage, and T-Mobile is a dangerous scammer that you need to fully read into before getting conned.
It's all subjective, it depends on your location. Overall, Verizon has the best coverage. T Mobile has the cheapest prices but worst overall coverage. Sprint is just there, and AT&T is balanced.
Really, if you're a student get a student discount with AT&T, T-Mobile Verizon. I lay $80 a month for my service with AT&T.
AT&T is the best. Their network is GSM/HSPA+/LTE so they allow unlocked phones onto their network, they use better frequencies than Sprint & T-Mobile as far as LTE coverage is concerned (they use Bands 2, 4, 5 and 17) allowing for broader coverage and stronger reception in buildings. They also have decent customer service in my opinion, and I get a discount from them. Really the best overall carrier.
I had T-Mobile and Verizon and T-Mobile's coverage is horrible -- nothing but 2G (EDGE) outside of cities and even in cities your connection can go from HSPA+ to LTE to EDGE all in the span of a couple of blocks or when you enter a building. Verizon had decent coverage but you can't really bring any phone on their network like you can with T-Mobile and AT&T.
My dad has Sprint and they are literal trash. They wouldn't unlock his iPhone 5, their LTE coverage is spotty, and their 3G is slow as hell.
AT&T has excellent connection in the city and so does Verizon.
But bill-wise, Verizon is a living hell but it's worth it in the long run because you are paying for their LTE that is great.
Verizon is excellent in terms of service but bill-wise it's fine.
AT&T isn't bad bill-wise but there are specials to support it the data. There is this Data thing and it will stop if you go over your data.
T-Mobile: I can't judge the service because I never used it but I heard it's really good, in terms of service and data.
Sprint: The service is okay near me but what about the others? But the only thing that they want you to lease the phone.
