Straight men are the ones who give being gay that negative connotation. I swear, some straight guys', even the ones who claim to be tolerant, biggest fear is being perceived as gay. That's what she's referring to. For women be gay men, it's no big deal to us if we're perceived a certain way because we know who we are. Straight guys feel any form of feminine behavior is lesser.
On second thought, a lot of gay men act the same way. Very sad and misogynistic.
