No, it's not. Discrediting is make someone or something appear false or negative. Black women might be discredited, but being copied and not being given proper credit for it is NOT discrediting them. It's not crediting, not appreciating and ignoring them.

She has always been an arrogant artist and the way she's slighted Kim instead of trying to be the bigger person and now she's turned to her passive bullying towards Iggy, all off of her own insecurities. The bolded parts of the definition are NOT parallel to the point Nicki made. Again, she talked about black being copied and not being credited for it. That's not demonization or discrediting.

I made this thread because I agreed with Nicki's point about black women being copied and the original title was pointing out specific artists who do it.

Just because I'm pointing out Nicki doesn't know how to properly use 'discredit' and people are arguing with me trying to pretend she's actually eloquent [she's not] doesn't cause a backfire. Stop trying to be clever because you're not good at it.
