Do you SERIOUSLY think Britney's team would let him anywhere near Brit at this point? When was the last time we heard from him? A year ago? Did he even Tweet about BJ?

Also, am I the only American not used to seing actual physical singles on shelves in the 00s or even 90s?

Oh, they get much more bothered than they will admit to. And I love talking to them because they weren't stans in the early 2000s so it's like clocking them with firsthand knowledge and takes almost 0 effort to bring them to reality
Physical singles were dying out thanks to the creation of the CD.
In 1995, "Gangsta's Paradise" sold 2.5M singles in the U.S. (the best-seller).
In 2000, only Madonna's "Music" and Santana's "Maria Maria" sold over 1M copies (Sisqo's "Incomplete" did 981k).
In 2001, Mariah Carey's "Loverboy" did 570k sales to be the #1 seller of the year.
Also, a fun outlier I found while researching exact numbers:

Sultry singer Britney Spears holds onto the #2 best-selling video (of 2001) with her own concert scrapbook, “Britney in Hawaii: Live & More,” which sold 168,000 copies to just edge out Tool’s

A full list:
Best-selling Singles By Year
1992: "I Will Always Love You", Whitney Houston – 3,086,000
1993: "Whoomp! (There It Is)", Tag Team – 2,754,000
1994: "I'll Make Love to You", Boyz II Men – 1,627,000
1995: "Gangsta's Paradise", Coolio featuring L.V. – 2,534,000
1996: "Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)", Los Del Rio – 3,747,000
1997: "Candle in the Wind 1997", Elton John – 8,111,000
1998: "The Boy Is Mine", Brandy & Monica – 2,591,000
1999: "Believe", Cher – 1,707,000
2000: "Maria, Maria", Santana featuring The Product G&B – 1,337,000
2001: "Loverboy", Mariah Carey – 571,000

2003: "This Is The Night", Clay Aiken – 948,000
2004: "I Believe", Fantasia – 401,000
Remember that 1997 is an outlier. Elton re-released "CITW/SATWYLT" following Princess Diana's death and made it a charity single. It is the best-selling non-holiday single of all-time.

Britney hasnt spotted anywhere all this time...she didnt tweet anything about that...
The only things she shared this period was videos that showed she had a great time with her family!
Excited nevertheless

She could be working hard for all we know
Iggy confirmed she won't be joining Britney on stage though I totally expect her to add the lead to her setlist

Jordan is a chronic liar, he says and tweets all of these clickbait fallacies so people visit his site (must not be doing so well with his transition to pop music, unlike 1989 hihi).

- New track features Iggy Azalea
- A supposed January release.
- An unfinished demo is making the rounds.
- Uptempo with heavy beats that disappear during the chorus and return suddenly after. Described as “ELECTRIFYING!” The track also ends suddenly.
- Its structure is somewhat similar to “We Found Love” by Rihanna.
- It’s a club song about having fun.
- Lyrics are simple.
- Begins with Iggy’s rap, with more of her verses after that.
- A male robotic voice can be heard in some parts of the track, especially during the chorus, in the background, repeating verses sung by Britney.
- EDM? Yes. Auto tune? Oh yes. Generic? Maybe.
- Potential producers include Zedd, will.i.am or Diplo.
- The unfinished track can leak at any time.
I kind of believe it, tbh. It doesn't sound bad, imo, especially for a lead single

Love the cover
The album cannot be called IX unless Iggy raps that it's "Iggy IX" otherwise I want an actual title.

Ugh, I LOVE that stuff. When you can hear a robotic male voice in the back like with Piece of Me and, more recently, Madonna's Ghosttown has it in the chorus and it has a great effect.
And idk how I feel about ANOTHER dance-heavy track with a breakdown for a lead. I just hope it has a killer chorus with a strong hook, I won't have the speaking voice as a chorus nonsense that WB suffered from.
Either way, I don't think that's the type of lead single to sell albums with tho so I'm not expecting big #'s (or improved ones, rather). Just hoping for a good album.

BUT w/ Iggy possibly out the way at the beginning of the song, that means Britney will be singing the bridge most likely (which is where artists tend to stick in the rent-a-rap feature) and the bridge always slays so YAY!
Plus, when people are considering changing the station cuz they hate Iggy and right before they do it Britney's voice pops up after 30 seconds and they keep bopping. Genius tactic!
