Hispanic is a race. i'm part spanish from spain..hispanic. and our genetic makeup is different then other euro caucasian ppl. its similar to the french though

Hispanic people are from Latin America [except Brazil]. They are not of one race! Are Americans a race? No! Are Asians a race? No!
Most Hispanics are a mix of native people and Europeans. Some are pure European and pure native. Many are part black due to slavery, especially around the Caribbean Latin American countries like Dominican Republic and Colombia. Latin America has many recent immigrants too! The last president of Peru is of Japanese descent!
It truly depends on the country tbh.
For example most people form Spain, Argentina, Uruguay are white.
On the other hand people from my country (Peru) are mostly mixed. There is white and black people here too but they're a minority.
Racially hispanics are usually more racially ambiguous. Some are white, some are black, some are mestizo, some still have indigenous blood. Don't worry about your race, especially since hispanic culture is so vibrant and interesting that race doesn't matter.
