#15 Starting off the top 15 is "On Top Of World" from Imagine Dragons. This is their second year in a row appearing in my year-end countdown. Last year, it was their big hit "Radioactive."I love Imagine Dragons and their unique sound since I discovered "Its Time" a couple years ago. This particular song just puts me in a good mood and makes my day.
#14 This is Ingrid Michaelson's first time appearing in my year-end countdown since "The Way I Am" back in 2008. This year, she came back with "Girls Chase Boys". Interesting, humorous lyrics and oh-so-catchy tune and vocals. I like the whole gender- ending theme in the music video which she pays homage to Robert Palmer's "simply Irresistible."
#13 Of course I had to put Beyonce, last year she surprised us with her album on iTunes an released some good songs one of them being "Pretty Hurts". The song with such a powerful message. It let's all girls know (and some guys) that, trying to be beautiful hurts because you have to go through plastic surgery and sometimes other drastic measures to make yourself "perfect". But in reality, no one can have the "perfect body" or "perfect face". Also, you have to be happy with yourself. Plastic surgery only makes you APPEAR better, but your soul is the one that needs to be repaired. Very good song and video.
#12 Katy Perry makes it yet another year with "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J which was another # 1 hit for her. Catchy is an understatement, the beat to this song got so stuck in my head after the first time I heard it, that by the second time I heard it on the radio I actually instantly recognized it. Then I found myself humming to it.
#11 It seems like Rixton has replaced The Wanted. When I first heard this song, I knew it sounded very familiar and then I thought about Rob Thomas' "Lonely No More" which I found out Rob Thomas gave them permission to use the melody. I like the song.
Bonus
The tenth bonus for this update "XO" from Beyonce. This is one of the most subtle songs on BEYONCE. Yet it's one of the best. Such a lush, romantic groove

Great set! Me and My Broken Heart isn't exactly anything special but for some reason I just love it, it's so infectious.
Dark Horse wasn't the best Katy single this era imo but it was certainly the best single she released this year. Nice choice.
then Girls Chase Boys is probably one of the more underrated songs of the year. XO should have made it tho.
Chandelier is amazing too.
