Should Q4 of every other year now be named the Taylor Swift Quarter? Should our poor faves not even try to release during this time?
Tony & Gaga managed to release two weeks before Q4, and 1D got the chance to stay on top for a flickering moment before being knocked back down quicker than a ray of light, but not everyone was so lucky.
The Pinkprint was blocked and it looks as though even Title might be blocked in January at this rate. 1989 is coming for 5x Platinum, which is the most of any pop album (minus 21) since The Fame. The Lord, her power.
I didn't know The Fame had sold over 5M in the US. if true
Lack of clarification on my part. I meant that 5,000,000 is the most of any album sinceThe Fame. It was at 4,572,000 in March (was last certified as 3x Platinum in 2010 or so). It'll get there eventually, but I was using it mostly as a comparison.
