I feel like she abandoned the clothing line momentarily to focus on becoming fashion icon first. Let's face it, her previous style was a bit too polarizing. I'm still pressed she never rolled out the men's line tho.

I don't think that is the case. I think she wanted to set up shop so that she has multliple businesses up and running and hoped that the clothing line would do better.
She could d o a couple of commercials using her album tracks to cross promote. That'll be great.

I agree. She should have done H&M or Topshop or River Island.

Hmm she went to other stores but other stores were not interested. Keep in mind the timing of it all. Now, she could get into macy...heck even target.
Back then she endured some backlash and her image came off cartoonish moreso than fashionable which certain brands didn't want to align with.
With the closing of Kmart stores she needs to try and move her product over to Macy's kohl's or Target now that her image is more relatable and she is more liked during thie Pinkprint era.

For some reason, Anaconda transitions into The Night Is Still Young really well.

I agree. They are both catchy yet silly songs designed to be hits and not quality...but on opposite ends of the spectrum (pop and hip hop).
I noticed they work well off each other for that reason.
