The season finale has 7.4 average points on IMDb. Was it that bad?

It was a big character piece with some throwbacks to the dark days of the Carrie/Brody soap drama. Riding on the coattails of some intense episodes, it is rather boring, quiet and forgettable.

It was really more of a set up finale for next season rather than a cliff hanger finale/Big Bang finale like all the other Homeland finales were. Idk.. it was definitely a strange way to end it, I'll say that.

I actually liked the episode but for a season finale it was very underwhelming.
But I guess that's writers' fault. Since the story for this season was longer than the episode count they couldn't finished it. The network could gave one more episode for this season too

I'm glad Carrie and Quinn finally kissed, but the rest of their story was too predictable. Carrie's face when she saw Saul at Dar Adal's place, she just can't win in life.

Carrie's half-brother actually looked cute but he is underage so lemme shut my mouth

The actress choice for Carrie's mother was so wrong imo, her acting seemed so forced, idk why.

I hope they will finally come to Turkey in next season

That was just.... weird.

I still think the episode was not that bad, it was just so calm and people weren't expecting it to be like that after the previous season finales.

I came here to give my opinion on season 4 because I just binge watched it. After an awful season 3, I wasn't expecting anything. Maybe that helped because I quite enjoyed Season 4. It took a while, but it got there... The second half was a bang. Looking forward to season 5.

I see people didn't enjoy the season finale, but critics liked it and I did too.
