I hate all the #R8 snippets so far, and visually, it's shaping up to be really weird and artistic. I think she's coming for critical acclaim rather than commercial success with this era. She's already had enough commercial success, and has enough signature hits to her name.
As a result, I'm less excited for it now than I was 6 months ago. I love dance Rih. We Found Love, Only Girl, SOS, etc. are some of my favourite songs from her. And I think this album/era is going to be more innovative than anything she's done. And I'm kind of like "just give me more smash hits."
I think the 'Home' soundtrack is going to be catchier and way more pop. So I think I might actually enjoy it more than R8

I like pop music. I'm not a fan of experimental.
