Yes, they've had a good year, but $4 million on ONE artist for something that is not even music related seems unfair towards my faves - KONGOS who worked so hard this year to become a multi-platinum selling band. Their new project will most likely be pushed back now, because of this huge amount of money.
I don't think 4M was spent. I think you pay 10% of the bond or something like that. It's more 400K was spent
I'm sorry sis but no they ain't worth more than him. He can produce hit songs like "Hot *****" and his follow up is heating up. Them gurls flop time and time again.
"Oh Bobby Shmur', the next Jay-Z!"
Shut the fck up, hun. Talkin' bout producing a hit, he better produce a verdict of 'not-guilty'.

not when my fav has sold over 40 million ww
and 70 singles
Trust me, he will have to pay every CENT back if he even vaguely has a career after this.
This is not free money.
He will either pay it back over the rest of his life OR he gos totally bankrupt and is buried in legal drama,
this is not really a good thing for him, in the long run.
No company would give away that kind of dough without a million strings attached.
In all seriousness, this pisses me off so much. Fifth Harmony are gaining so much momentum and could really become huge in 2015 with the right budget/promotion, but instead all of the money they deserve is going to somebody who is clearly going to be nothing but a local one-hit wonder who deserves to sit in jail for all of the stuff he did anyways.
Fifth Harmony needs to leave this awful record label and its messed up priorities ASAP.
Do some of you really think $4 million dollars is all Epic has or half of what it has on its banks account? Meghan is still earning money for them, they had a Michael Jackson release, Say Something earlier this year and KONGOS, Fifth Harmony and more artists selling decently. I doubt Epic has had a bad year.

First of all, you realize labels do have employees and other CEOS? It could of been Sylvia Rhone that bailed Shmurda out of jail.
and Avril shouldn't have signed there in the first place.
I blame Avril and LA for just about everything and the former really doesn't work for this situation so I went with the next best thing.
