It looks like Girls Aloud could finally be set to crack America without really trying.
The band have never enjoyed huge success in the US charts despite all their hits over here – but that is set to change thanks to the new version of classic cult TV show Beverly Hills 90210.
A source at the show’s production company, Spelling Television, told me, “The girls have secured three songs on the show’s soundtrack and forthcoming album, including their No.1 smash The Promise. The buzz on the band in the US is great at the moment.” Well done, girls!

Moving on to more news abt the girls, they are set to perform at next week's Brits Awards and 'The Promise' has made it through 6 online votings rounds to become one of the final nominees for the Best British Single award at this years Brits! Call 09016 16 18 03 now (for those in the UK) to vote for 'The Promise' and secure Girls Aloud their very first Brit Award for one of 2008's biggest singles!

I think they will get alot of exposure if their songs will in the 90210 soundtrack, 90210 is a popular TV show.

I really wanted the Saturdays to crack the US, they have a fresher sound and are still new at UK, I think GA will not put much of them into it...

I never like girls aloud and their music!! I never understand who a girlgroup like them can get worldwide succes! And why they are soooo populair in the UK!!??!
They have GREAT girlbands like SPICE GIRLS,SUGABABES AND ALL SAINTS from the UK!!
The world should give GIRLICIOUS a change!! That girls have the TALENT and the LOOKS to take over the world with GREAT music/voices and GREAT dancemoves!!
