I wouldn't worry about her financial stability. Little Mix have made bank between the royalties they've earned as writers on their $5 million records sold, arena touring, merchandising, endorsements and their private business.

Yes, that is true. Alexandra sold 6 million records with her debut just in the UK and she's said in recent article that she's made enough to financially cover her for most of her life.

It's just the delays that's worrying. Didn't they cancel their entire US tour so they could 'finish writing and recording' the album?

I don't think Alexandra wrote much, if any of her material, so that bodes well for Little Mix since they've written all of their singles

They're still working on the album. They could have had an album done if they just recorded demos that we're handed to them but they prefer to be involved in the creative process. Jade said that they'll be working with American writers in the new year. It'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

She didn't - but Syco are very fickle when it comes to their acts, this is why a joint deal in the UK would have worked better for them. They're all about the 'out with the old in with the new'.


I guess if any changes are taking place behind the scenes we'll be notified if them in the new year! I'm guessing a lead single will be put out in January? Hopefully this will find more commercial success than Salute did.

Yeah, I hate that about Syco. The label reflects the reality-show cycle that they represent. But I think the winners are obligated to sign sole deals with Syco? I can only think of runner-ups that did join deals.

I don't think a single in January is likely. Last time they gave an update they stated that they haven't decided on a single. And yes, hopefully this will do better than the near-platinum Salute which deserved better.
