It's because people mostly don't know how to smoke it properly the first times and that you need to keep the smoke in your lungs for a bit to get the effect.
First time I smoked, I was smoking it like a cigarette, so no wonder I didn't feel any effect.
Any bong lovers here btw? I love mine so much, I even named it.
Am I the only one who had it the worst first time? I thought i was having a heart attack the first time I smoked
A few times.
Weed > alcohol. I'm an alcoholic; it's much worse of a drug to get really hooked on.
-Much more accessible for minors than cannabis
-Very addictive physically (luckily, I've never been there, just mentally).
-All it does is slow down the body's system which causes piss poor decisions. You may not even really remember what happened the night before and end up waking up the next morning naked without remembering why.
-A lot of people deny that they have a problem because it's taboo to be an alcoholic. "You're just having fun!"
Weed isn't perfect either, but it's much better of a drug to use regularly. (Smoking anything IMO is bad for you).
-Its usage allows you to see the world in a new way. You can start to appreciate nature if you didn't before.
-It can help people with depression, anxiety, anorexia, etc.
That being said, I don't plan to use neither weed nor alcohol in the future. Drugs caused too much of a negative impact on my life. ANY DRUG CAN BE ADDICTIVE. If people can get addicted to eating ****ing couch cushion, they can get addicted to smoking marijuana.
The two times I tried weed it gave me a horrific paranoia. To the point where I thought I was going to end up in the hospital. Friend suggested the first time it might have been laced, second time the same thing happened. Decided it wasn't for me. But I have no issues with people who smoke it.
