Mainly when people talk about singles, it's about the full length ones.
Happily Never After technically also was a single, just without visuals, but we never call it one, same for PCD's How many Times; How Many Lies and Bite The Dust.
Ofcourse it is a stand-alone release and therefor a single in the broad sense of the word, but it is just a promotional release rather than the actual "singles" of an album
Well... My primary fave is Rihanna, so it's pretty rare for me to get visuals or any promotion and that makes me treat all singles - promo and "full lenght" ones equally
No, you're not. I want a release in the US with a better video that has actual choreography (not solo dancers doing random things), better lighting and better scenery.

The budget for the video ( ) but I prefer this to a lot of her videos from this era - mainly because she actually manages to showcase her ability to dance well.
