You guys are thinking of Xenophobia & Ethnocentrism which are different, but slightly similar concepts.
Race and thus Racism were created by European Colonist. Humans had no concept of race before then. It's why Africans had no problem selling other blacks into slavery. Europeans had no problems enslaving Irish and and East asians have no problems hating each other. They didn't begin viewing themselves as one race until later.
