The decade is halfway over and this year has been a mess.
The lost Malaysian airplane that has yet to be found, the lost Nigerian Girls, the heightened tension between Hamas and Israel, Russia and the US going back and forth, Russia invading Ukraine, ISIS, the extreme racial tension in the US, North Korea hacking Sony, Iggy Azalea causing controversy, the list goes on.
No other year has come close this decade to the constant headlines, besides 2012.
