It has. Discussions on ATRL helped me change my opinion on transsexualism and many other issues.

So just because you think that real world discussion here is ineffective, doesn't mean it is.

that's actually like exactly what I would prefer. The things I thought at 18 =/= what I think at 22. A lot of ya'll say **** you will inevitably be embarrassed for later on, and with something as heavy as racism I don't think teenagers really have a solid understanding unless they're having a dialogue with an adult who has had more world experience. But maybe that's just me.

People here are ****ing stupid and seem to take an odd joy in shouting out Shi*t they have no concept of, often times confusing race, culture, and nationality at a dangerously ignorant level.

I mean, calling white girls racists because they rap? Even when their boyfriend of years is black?? People clearly don't know what the word racist even means here (confusing it for non-political correctness and ignorance, stemmed in part from a foreign culture).

Racism is a a serious topic that is being discussed here by internet kids donning their stan-glasses and speaking utter nonsense. If Atrl wants to not turn off it's core visitors any longer, banning these discussions might be a nice idea.
