Lady Gaga's lead single to her debut era smashed on its own, then Poker Face smashed even more, and ONLY THEN she was noticed for her weird outfits etc.

So Nope And she never used anything. Just because people were interested in how she dresses etc. and it became a huge thing, and a signature thing for Gaga, doesn't mean she did it to sell records.

I mean it would be pretty sad if she sold more records than ANYONE ELSE since 2008 only because of her outfits... I mean that's very, very offensive to the other artists, don't u think ?

She sold 27M+ albums and 125M+ singles. No one else did it since 2008. NO ONE. So it's definitely because of many many many things, like the music itself being good, Lady Gaga being one hell of a performer etc.

Lady Gaga became famous because she is SMART and TALENTED.

Everyone has Image, everyone has to be consistent in being Pretty or Weird or Normal or whatever works for them, BUT there are people that RELY on it, and people that can survive without it and that's the difference.
