The following quote made by Retro is exactly what I think of Rebel Heart. "A decent attempt at a folksy 1D-style pop track and enjoyable but very reminiscent of American Life. It's basically one of the obvious singles on the record - radio friendly, inoffensive, and just overall cute but not that brilliant."
23. Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High)
Quote:
This is a guilty pleasure of mine. I know I shouldn't love it because it's disposable crap and I'm generally not into that but I can't NOT song this song everytime I hear it come on the radio . It's such a cute song
22. Swans - Screenshot
Quote:
This song starts off perfectly, with haunting guitar riffs that make you feel like you're on another planet. This song is about how things in life seem trivial, it's one of my favorite songs by Swan . This is one of the songs you need to listen to if you haven't heard it!
21. Foxes - Youth
Quote:
This song reminds me of Theus everytime I hear it, it's such a beautiful anthem as well! It's about the pain you experience after adolescence, the confusion, the anger, and the fight to stay youthful forever even though you know it's impossible.
20. Phantogram - Fall In Love
Quote:
Not the happiest love song you'll ever hear, Phantogram knocks this out of the park! It's about feeling so suicidal, about feeling so lost, so depressed, so down about love and being sucked into someone's life so far that you can't live your own. Please don't do this in real life folks
My baby Buddy comes in at number 15 on this chart. This greek god () is known for his iconic avatar, Gaga stanning, and fun personality overall. If you haven't had the chacne to talk to him, please do so because you're life will be enhanced like mines. CHECK YOUR SNAPCHAT MORE OFTEN BOO
FYL is probably one of the most recognizable members on this site. Forget that his name doesn't make sense , this handsome beast is such a nice person, one of the nicest I've EVER encountered and is super helpful. I appreciate everything that he does for me . Is there a modship in his future?
Unless you frequent the K-pop threads, I doubt you'll know this member . I have no idea what his username means or how to pronounce it, don't ask me. However this guy is so...how can I say this? Quintessential to me being here? He may not have known it at the time but when we starting to talk about earlier in the year I was going through major depression and just having him talk to me everyday was enough to keep me on this site and continue to try to get better. Without him, I would not only be absent from ATRL, but more serious problems in my personal life could've been affected. I seriously love him
10 Best Albums of 2014
#6
Ultraviolence
Quote:
Number 6 on my countdown is Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey. This album is very underrate on ATRL, mostly because it's not as pop as her last album so it's not as "good". I happen to think it's her best album, the amazing variety of songs just blows me away each time . You have songs from the pop genre, surf genre, 50s inspired records, like this girl can do no wrong. If you haven't tried it out yet, do so! You'll like it more than my other album choices I can bet as it aligns closer with ATRLer's average taste

Reveal!
Goldfrapp - Slippage
Quote:
This song is pure sex, it makes me feel so raunchy and so dirty listening to it. I love it . Actually one of the reasons why I like it so much is because it makes a good stripping song. Just imagine someone pouring water onto you as you slowly discard all clothing on your body . Everyone should know this song, EVERYONE tbh.
Done today's set. Thoughts?
and mess I'll do a second update today since I didn't do anything yesterday. It's only fair
Habits! I love that song, one of my favorites from 2014! (but is not "disposable crap" )
Ultraviolence was.... alright. I like it, but is not as good as "Born To Day" imo
Youth and Habits placed decently, Ultraviolence making the top 10
Your descriptions for members are already very deep and personal, the top 10 must have done something revolutionary in your life or Imma be mad disappointed
This song reminds me of Theus everytime I hear it, it's such a beautiful anthem as well! It's about the pain you experience after adolescence, the confusion, the anger, and the fight to stay youthful forever even though you know it's impossible.
