The fact that there's been no press release or interviews from both camps means a fix is being cooked and that's sad if Rihanna really was physically abused.

A lot of those who have financial interests on both are probably scurrying all over the place right now trying to repair this scandal. They're probably going to send them both out of the country soon until they come up with something believable. We'll probably never know what really happened but just another version that works for their careers.

Chris Browns career is a mess.

Chris Brown may have gotten lucky because the charge he was booked on is kinda weak, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. But he's still in big trouble, and Rihanna says it's not the first time he's attacked her.

Sources say the Los Angeles County District Attorney kicked the case back to the police for further investigation because evidence that he made criminal threats against Rihanna is kind of thin. Our sources are quick to say he will, however, almost certainly be charged with felony domestic battery, a lesser offense but still serious.

Here's how it went down, according to the police report. After Chris received a text message from a woman who wrote about getting together, an argument erupted. By the way, initially, Rihanna would not tell cops what started the argument.

She did, however, tell them that during the argument, he started hitting her. According to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and "faked a call" to someone, saying things like, "He's dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there."

Rihanna told cops the fake call enraged Brown. He said something to the effect of "You are really fu**ed up now. I'm going to kill you." This statement is the basis of the criminal threats charge.

At that point, according to the report, Brown allegedly began a violent attack with his fists. At some point, Rihanna took the keys out of the ignition and threw them outside.

And there's this. According to the police report, she told cops this was not the first time Brown hit her. She referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

We're told the criminal threats charge is based on that one statement Brown allegedly made. As one law enforcement source told us, "It's kinda weak, and the D.A. is not going to prosecute a high profile case like this unless it's solid." That's why it was kicked back for further investigation.

Given the brutal nature of the attack, which the photos clearly show -- contusions on the face, swollen eyes, cut lip, bloody nose, bite marks on fingers and arm -- a felony domestic battery charge is virtually a done deal. That, however, is a less serious offense than making criminal threats.

First of all, why all of a sudden is it coming out now that he has attacked her b4. If this is the case, why hasn't it been reported b4, where are the photos? It seems to me that if the paparrazi can get pics of them in KFC and Wal-Mart, why can't they get pics of bruises? Not only that, wouldn't makeup artists notice bruises on her. They would have to cover it up. But, so far, no one has came forward with that info. Typically, when a woman is being abused, she is scare of her mate, she rarely smiles, she distances herself from the abuser, she never looks happy, and people notice a difference in her. The abuser controls her, the people that she hangs around with, and the way she dresses. I have not seen any of that. When I see them together they are all smiles and lovey dovey. She is the one who is showing up on sets and looking thru his phone. She is the one who is jealous and insecure. She could have any man that she wants and he could have any woman that he wants. The difference is he seems to be secure and she doesn't.

Second, we cannot always believe what the the media is reporting bcuz they can blow things out of proportion. This website is reporting that he is charged with domestic battery, while another site says that he cannot be charged with that bcuz they are not married, do not live together, or have any children together. So, he can only be charged with making a criminal threat. And honestly, how many times have we gotten into an argument with a loved one and something similar?? Most people in the world should be charged if that's the case. When we are mad, we all have the ability to say things that we don't mean.

Third, we immediately jumped to Rihanna's side because she is a woman and domestic violence happens mostly to women. But, let's say that he did receive a text message from another girl and they argued about it. That doesn't mean that he just started hitting her like a man. That type of thing happens everyday. They are too young to be in a serious relationship. And who's to say that she doesn't have guys texting her. I wasn't there and neither were most of you, so we don't know what happened. Therefore, we should be careful not to judge and choose sides. At the same time, I find it hard to believe that he just beat her up over something like this. He could have easily dropped her off and went to go hook up with the girl that text him. That's what most men would have done bcuz they don't like all that arguing. Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that he hit her, then she ordered him to drive her home. Ok..........
If you just hit me, do you think that I want you to take me home. Nope, I don't think so. I am getting out of the car. That's just me. And why would she "fake a call"? That's childish, especially if you are getting hit!!! You're first call should have been the police. So, come on.......
Then after the "fake call", he hits her again and she manages to take the keys out of the ignition and throw them outside. I thought you wanted him to take you home?? I am the type that would have fought back, not grab some keys. Could it be that they both were hitting? I am just saying, you hit me and I am not going to hit you back?? Nah, that don't soun right, especially if you grew up with two brothers. She should be use to fighting back.

Lastly, why does the DA need more evidence or more investigation? If he beat her up so badly, that should have been enough.
And where are the pics? The ones that they have shown are a fake. If he hit her, then he is wrong. But, if she started hitting him first and he was trying to calm her down and she didn't stop, and he did hit her back, then I have no sympathy for her. Some things as a woman, you just don't do. A man is physically stronger than a woman. And some women think that they are big and bad and they try men, Just like it's possible that he hit her, it is also possible that she started the argument and that she hit him first. If so, she needs to grow up, stop being insecure and deal with life.

SAD...That everybody jump on the bandwagon to hate Chris, When they know NOTHING...Other then what TMZ Editor Harvey Levin report and his story change every 5 mins...It doesn't hurt to actually use your brain once in a while
