I'm loving the overwhelmingly positive support she has been receiving from figures in the black community for articulating the way that many black people feel. She is extremely brave to put herself out there and saying what needs to be said. This interview is really going to make a lasting impact in public discourse.

It's a sentiment that many urban artist feel so I'm not surprise. However, this is just complaining and passively ranting.

No co signs are going to change this

I respect the artists that play an active role in rights for minorities (marches, making movements, using their voice to speak intelligently on the subject matter) and not artist that cater to a majority to obtain success and money. not those that change who they are to be more accessible to the majority (image, natural hair, lifestyle etc.)

They are supporting her music, but they aren't buying it.

She's the scapegoat for the anger and frustration; however, she's also a woman so they will go harder on her than Macklemore, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Elvis presley, the beach boys etc.

Again the easily impressionable will cosign their cosign. others will look to see what they are doing to actively contributing to pushing the culture forward so that their complaints have action behind it besides rants and passive aggression. Eh
