It's a way of marketing that pop culture fans simply run with. It's disturbing these women are becoming the face of feminism these days when actual feminist icons get paid dust. An important issue like this is being glamorized.

The mere fact that Beyonce is 33 years old, her OWN boss, a working mum expressing her sexuality in the way she WANTS and FEELS like expressing it, worth $500 million and articulating feminism and the issues that go with it makes her much more of a feminist than most women tbh.
