Do you agree? At some points, I think it's all being smudged. Racism as a whole. I personally don't care much about race or skin color because I believe in the existence of individual characteristic aside from homegrown culture. Is racism only applicable to black people as stated in the quoted statements? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can be white and know what racism is. You can be Asian and know what racism is. I do. I don't have white skin, but neither am I black, but there are times when I feel degraded because of my dark skin.

It's not as everywhere as everyone makes it out to be.
The older generation is more likely to be racist, but the new generation is more likely to feel separated from other races/minorities. That makes certain racist/minorities feel like everyone's being racist when really it's usually because most people don't feel welcome or are afraid of being assumed racist and that causes both races to act different around each other.
We need to end this awkward separation with each other.
2014 has raised so many racist allegations for literally everything, and while I'm not trying to make it about me, I feel more separated from black peoples as ever, and I don't want to feel that way. It makes me sad because I know we're all the same

Hence, I titled the thread "Racism is everywhere". I think one wouldn't hurt that much, considering a lot of racism-related topics are out there. I don't think it's wrong to have one place of putting some points to make sense, no matter how wrong, also considering the opportunity to talk about it. It's thinking like this that makes racism much more a problem.

If we didn't discuss anything in life, where would we be? We wouldn't even have ****ing intelligent rational life because the language/discussion is what progressed us to that. If you want things to stay the same, sure, that sounds great.

Forgot to include this one. This is what I meant with "smudged". It's like people see black and white and nothing's in between. Like it's a double edged sword with all the other ethnic groups are just standing in the middle.

But the sad thing is people can't. There's always a model for perfection and what's great and isn't, leading to other issues. Homophobia, racism, bullying, sexism, there's always a point of connection.
But who knows, someday.
