No I'm not. And I was obviously talking about China. Chinese people are known for eating dog and cat meat, so skinning said animals is not really that big of a deal to them as it is to us. Please step off your high horse and realize people have eaten meat since the dawn of time. We are omnivores and different cultures eat different animals. People have used animal skin as a form of protection from the nature and its elements. People still do that. You can argue we are more sensitive about it now but it's still up to each individual's choice.
Would I skin/eat a dog? No, but that doesn't give me the right to judge people who do. Especially if it's a norm in their country.
