Instagram has recently cleared out a lot of fake followers from people's accounts.

Justin Bieber has been dethoroned from his #1 most followed spot, dropping from approximately 23.8m to 20.2m.


Other notable drops:

• Ariana Grande - 21.5m down to 20.2m (Lost 1.5m followers)
• Kim Kardashian - 23.5m down to 22.2m (Lost 1.3m followers)
• Rihanna - 14.5m down to 13.2m (Lost 1.3m followers)
• Selena Gomez - 19.5m down to 18.4m (Lost 1.1m followers)
• Beyonce - 22.5m down to 21.3m (Lost 1m followers)
• Instagram - 65m down to 45m (Lost 20m followers)
