I don't think she chose the easy way out...
Suicide is literally the biggest choice that someone can make in their life and I've even seen people before saying it's cowardly, which I think is absolutely disgusting. Having the willpower to be able to go through with it - knowing you'll never see another day again - is hardly an easy or simple decision.
Not that I agree with it, because obviously I wish no one was in a position where they feel as if suicide is their only option. That's so terribly sad, but I don't think it's "easy".
