no, i completely agree with you. i know she won't put out 1989 2.0, though, she's never put out the same record twice and i really don't think she'll start now.
i'm fine with her staying pop, as long as she gets different influences. like indie pop, alternative rock. a combination of that would be hot, and very "in" for today (although of course no one knows what'll be big in 2016).
i also need her to cut the collaborations and go back to writing longer songs. shorter pop ones are fun and stuff, but the true story-telling songs are the longer ones

imo, anyway.
(i love 1989 a LOT, but i can't see it replicated.)
