So this is a new EP, only dropping at the start of December and I only heard it two(?) days ago, but already it's worked its magic on me and I REALLY like the style Little Boots is going for nowadays. Everything she releases feels more progressed than her previous stuff so it's exciting to see how she grows. The EP is a mishmash of different styles with Heroine being more like a club dancer, Taste It being more experimental, etc. and all the tracks sound completely different. It would have been ranked higher I suspect, but I've only heard it five times so far but I needed to eliminate another act from this spot I'm confident it would have made its way onto this list somewhere anyway. Excited for the next album in 2015!

This mini is somewhat unique in that it's the only one on the list that hasn't had every track grab me yet. Admittedly only the first four songs really do anything for me but the last two are nice anyway so they helped. The title track took a while to click with me and only did after Burn wiggled into my brain as the BOP it is. Overall it's a chilled EP and a generally nice listen, so it's great for late night playing which is what Sunmi was going for, I think.
