Why wouldn't gaga be mentioned? The media hyped her up as the next Madonna. Even Interscope said she was in their first media release introducing gaga. This journalist and others are just pointing out how that was pretty foolish.

Versace might've made a bad move. Should've went for someone a little more culturally relevant, like maybe Ciara.

I don't think so, or at least most of them mention Gaga in some way, shape, or form. And knowing how much Madonna hates that she's not young, being compared to a younger artist probably pisses her off. Slay.

Madonna was so generous giving them that Super Bowl slot but they literally returned back to their respective dumpsters. Two hit wonders, a hit for each member I guess.
