The Pacific Northwest to me always seems to be so serene and mystical. I used to live in Washington also for a brief period of time. The scenery was breathtaking. Seattle is also so cute. Vancouver also is gorgeous.

I love SoCal though, couldn't see me anywhere else.

I love the ATL. But I'd love to have a second (maybe even third) home in that region. I think I'd love Seattle and Vancouver.

This thread (and site) is almost like ATRL for cities instead of pop stars ATL vs Seattle, ATL vs. Tokyo, etc...

I'm from Vancouver, BC but have spent most of my life in Portland, OR. Currently in Portland. I go to Seattle once every month or two just for the hell of it. I love where I live.

Yeah, I go on there all the time. Seattle is the Beyoncé of that site. The praise never ends

I have not been in that area but my boyfriend, who is in the military, used to live/stationed there somewhere in Seattle. what's the name of the navy/marine bases in seattle?

Yay someone else from Vancouver! I love Portland too. I pretty much visit yearly now, it's such a great city.

I live in Sacramento, so I'm almost in the Pacific Northwest.

But it sucks here. Wish I could mover farther North.

Hello! I'm not from the US or Canada but I'm planning on moving to one of Canada's big cities. Vancouver is definitely a candidate, it looks beautiful and I like that there aren't highways inside the city. The nature around it is also incredible, and I adore the rain. Is it better than Toronto or Montreal? The only "bad" things I've heard are: it's a boring city and it's more expensive in terms of houses/apartments.
