The #2 peaking song, Lights, got me first into Halcyon; an album filled with slow songs. Later, I found this.. Ellie Goulding's amazing debut. Her voice was made for this kind of music; so many electronic elements, almost perfect.

After her Saturday Night Live debut, I was done with her. I’d literally spit on her and her music because of those performances and I’d thought that only “hipsters” loved her since she was the “new cool thing.” I gave her a chance and **** happened.
This album contains so many different songs that it took her only one album to fill so many fills. Unlike her 2nd LP, this is lyrical brilliant.

Oh, Disney.
Demi Lovato's second album: debuted @ #1 on Billboard and got its lead single a top 15 peak. This is a pop-rock artist at its peak: she will never be able to write such amazing songs, to find different sounds (from old pop, to pop/rock to "jazz" to heartbreaking ballads), to collab with John Mayer and debut @ #1. Poor Demi. And she was only a druggy teenager when this got released.
