2015 will be a mess. Britney's releasing early this year and X is early/mid. Will be like Britney/Gaga of 2011 but 2015 with Brit/X.

I think they're both gonna see the same amount of success, Christina might sell more because I have a feeling she'll promote decently.
The reign of pop girls is kinda over though, it's all about alternative or rap music now. Taylor Swift being the exception.

Yeah I think they'll be the same as well. B will have better single sales and will be more frontloaded. Depends if Christina promotes. I think we'll get promo like Bionic but less.  More emphasis on the first/second single please. Her team needs to understand online promo... itunes etc.
Brit does great for online promo and stuff but no performances. The respective teams need to take note of each other's success.

What if Xtina comes back with an alternative album though? Or rock-ish, acoustic? Hozier meets Sara Bareilles meets Arctic Monkeys meets Passenger meets Lana

If the promo is Bionic-esque but with a great lead single instead of a NMT she'll get a top 10 hit easily, I pray

Ugh, I'd live. I'd love to hear Christina's vocals over a Lana track.. But since she's apparrently taking the R&B route she can easily be successful with the right image and lead single! I have faith this era, I think deep down we all knew Lotus was gonna be messy even before the era even began
