I'm not saying the GP isn't here for her, but even the millions that buy her albums are a small percentage. At least from what I've heard in the real world most of her core fans (I live in an area where country is big) can't stand her anymore and have lost respect. She's selling albums largely because of new fans.

The critics love Taylor because of who she is, which is evident by the SIO Grammy nominations and reviews of 1989. No one outside of ATRL is really calling 1989 anything groundbreaking or anything.

Sure Taylor's successful. But I'd rather have lyrics like Choose Your Battles and By The Grace of God than "Are we out of the woods yet?" (repeat 15037 times) and "the fakers gonna fake fake fake fake fake".
