He got to the other side (this isn't a joke, it isn't funny:
dark humor would say:
What happened when the chicken crossed the road?
He got hit by a bus.
I assumed anti-jokes were the ladder as that is something you'd typically see in an anti-joke website. Let me change the OP though so people don't get confused.
Those jokes (in the sense I assume you mean; those one-liners with abortion, murder, etc) typically rely much more on a shocking punchline. They are a part of black comedy, but a relatively minor part, at that. Black comedy is more pervasive; it's an overall cynical, self-aware way of approaching humor. I don't like equating those one-liners with black comedy because they're the weakest example of it, in my opinion. I like more drawn-out, tragicomic stuff.
And, as RudeBoyy said, most people are incorrect in labeling those anti-jokes. Anti-jokes are "funny" because they defy the standard set-up, punchline, delivery structure.
Think of it this way: Dark humor is seasoning. Impersonations, one-liners, and narratives are steaks. You can have a seasoned or an unseasoned steak.
