No. ATRL, mostly north americans are obssesed with racism.

I feel we gays lack the confidence to be proud of the people we are, in sense we mimic the stereotypical "ways" of much more "confidently represented" minorities such as black women.

To answer the OP: I don't think it is inappropriate as long as you respect and acknowledge the culture of which you are pulling slang/ways from
