Believing in santa or leprechauns or toothfairy is not the same as believing in God. The former is a creature, an obvious fairytale; the latter is a Creator, the First Cause, a Supreme Being which has logical reasons to believe in.
I'm sorry, but I see no differerence. Anyone believing in god is in the same categry as anyone believing in santa, ghosts or fairy tales for me. Cause at the end of the day, bible or any other "holy" book is just a fairy tale.
The people getting offended certainly never have a problem when their religion gets shoved down other's throats. For any campaign against religion, there's at least 100 supporting it that attack atheism, in addition to religious people who physically attack anyone they perceive to be 'different.' So this is quite rare, in the south at least. Let them get offended. Now they know how we feel ALL THE TIME.
What's laughably offensive are American Christians getting offended at this when they literally do worse than this daily times a million. Sorry but when 4/5 of Americans are Christians, actively making their religion the law of the land, you are not being "bullied" and "oppressed." Projection at its finest. And whatever happened to open dialogue? You can criticize and challenge any belief but the second its a religious one you're being "offensive" and the conversation is shut down. I refuse to censor myself because some people are just that fragile.
