Performing her biggest solo hit is very important tho.. A lot of people know the song and a lot of people have no clue that Charlie XCX sings it... of course she is going to perform it This is how people will start being aware of her as an artist. . "Ooh so she sings that song ... ? "

Thats true, i feel its dumb to sing the damn song everytime, but she needs to, she's not an old artist people doesnt know her that much

she should've done a Boom Clap/Doing It medley, BTR isn't going to happen at this point

Break The Rules has climbed 40 spots on itunes in the past few days

I know, but she performed it at the EMA's, AMA's & SNL and it failed to took off... I don't wanna be pessimist but things aren't looking good.

She only started promoting Break The Rules with TV performances in the middle of November, It still needs some time. She isnt Rihanna or Katy Perry whose singles are going to be instant smashes.

I know she's not Katy or Rihanna... I've been a huge fan since '12, but that doesn't mean I don't know how things work, this song isn't really connecting with the GP and she has at least two hits left on the album.

BTR is, in all due respect, the worst song on the album (lyrically). It's not catching on for a reason. Breaking Up is a much better song with a better video. She should have performed that instead, or a new song like Caught in the Middle. She has so many good songs on the album to perform over BTR.

If it were up to me I would've had Famous or Caught in the Middle as the second single. It seems like she released all the lackluster songs first (minus Boom Clap)
