I always hear about her having no input into her music so I did some research and found that she actually has written/co-written a lot more than some artists that never get questioned for this...
Here are each of the pop girl's songs that charted in a U.S. Chart/U.K. main chart and have been written/co-written by her. (Note: I realize its outdated by a bit)
Obviously songwriting is not one of her stronger assests, and it doesnt matter that she doesnt entirely write the songs herself because she makes those songs hers If that kinda makes sense. She makes quality music and thats all that matters and thats why she is able to sell millions of records.
FYI majority of the GP doesnt care / know much of songwriting. See why legends like Whitney Houston were able to have amazing careers with barely writing any material. People simply do not care that much about songwriting.
Ohhhh the way you make it sound is like she has co written for all these artists but you're just showing how many hit songs she's written for herself in comparison.
yeah i know this '' co-writing ''
no she is not underrated cause she doesn't write her songs , simple as that.
You can understand from the music if the singer writes his songs....its obvious that Rihanna's discography is a collection of hits written by other famous hit makers
This list has no point at all.

But what about everyone who has less? What are they?
How can she be underrated as a writer when none of us know what she's written. She's never written a song by herself. For all we know, she just changes a few words and gets a co-write credit, like a lot of other artists out there.
The only time songwriting credits matter is when the royalty checks come in. Hasn't Rihanna been credited on songs where the demo is exactly the same as what she is credited as writing on?
I never hear her talk about writing a song so it's obviously not a focus of her brand, unlike P!nk or Taylor
She isn't a writer, adding an 'ooh' in the chorus while recording would get her a writing credit. And if you notice almost all of her credits are last, she obviously doesn't contribute much if anything at all to her songs.
