FEMMME (a.k.a. Laura Bettinson) makes the dancey track even dancier with a layer of stuttering swagger and a schoolyard-chant-from-space urging “Go Charli!” as the jam builds to its sweaty conclusion.
“I made this remix in the back of a tour bus whilst supporting Charli XCX on her recent North American tour,” Bettinson told MTV News. “Between sound checks, late nights and waking up in Walmart carparks, I somehow managed to pull it off. Charli is a superstar riding a rocket fuelled with sass and attitude and doing this remix was a pleasure. When the hooks are this good — it’s easy.”
