Utada's album titled revealed plus 3 album track titles.
Utada's 2nd english album will be titled 'This Is The One'.
She announced it through her official myspace. Also three track titles were revealed with song descriptions:
F.Y.I.
-According to Utada's myspace page, this song includes samples from experimental pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto and references to the film "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence". Also, she recalls this song as a central moment in determining her final vision of the album. "I recorded the demo in December of 2007," she says, "but it was a difficult song, and I wasn’t satisfied with it—I had to try to get to the bottom of it. And then just a few months ago, I suddenly came up with the right lyrics, changed the melody in places, and it made sense."
Me Muero
-This song was described as "flirty" and "sophisticated", and is also Utada's personal favorite track on the album.
Apples & Cinnamon
-Described as "breezy", Utada recalls that this song came almost too easy to her.
The album hits stores 3/4 in Japan and 3/24 in the U.S.
I just read her myspace blog and there were two posts confirming it. Apparently, a staff member at Island/Def Jam wrote the first blog as if they were Utada and confirmed the title. Then Utada herself wrote a blog, confirming it and saying she was going to talk to the label and make sure that ithis problem wouldn't happen again because she was supposed to confirm the title.
