I rather have WOA as a single. The SB performance alone >>>

My concern was that if WOA takes Off, Steve won't fund it. But I guess he would have no choice, right?
Help me out: which Rhythmic stations and or pop started the DH trend first? And which station played IS?
If you guys can get this info today, I can find a conduit to get things rolling.

It honestly sounds like a first mix that was never completed, which is probably why it was relegated to the deluxe. If she replaced This Moment, Love Me, and Ghost with the deluxe tracks, it would have easily competed with TD as an album. I have a feeling she just wanted to include traditional Stargate and her song with Bloodshy, even though they are throwaways.

I agree 50%, but Birthday, This Is How We Do and International Smile (aka THE WORST POP SONGS TO DATE) would be still on the tracklist. PRISM has her best songs and her worst. She needs to stop filling her album with garbages, sis just wait for a good idea and then make a SOLID RECORD TO COMPETE @ THE GRAMMYS. This Is How We Do and International Smile type of songs will never get her an aclaim album.
PRISM should've been this:
Quote:
1. Roar
2. Legendary Lovers
3. Walking On Air
4. Unconditionally
5. Dark Horse (feat. Juicy J)
6. Double Rainbow
7. Spiritual
8. It Takes Two
9. Bad Photographs
10. Choose Your Battles
11. By the Grace of God

I'm still waiting for the next step tho.

The Dark Horse cover should be #1 tbh.

i know, if she'd ditched all the super pop songs, and kept some of the higher quality outtakes (any greg wells tracks is gonna be meaningful, that's how it always is), she could've had a really good album.
i still love Prism, i think it's a very fun, happy album, but that's the truth. songs like Birthday, IS, TIHWD just are messy.
also, even though a lot of Prism is a really pretty album, it's a shame that she probably feels not so strongly about the album anymore now that apparently she has not-so-great feelings towards John :/

I found these on Pulse (one of them is a post by you LOL), but they don't really mention the exact stations.

TIHWD sucks, but it's a cute little bop.
TM is actually a really good song imo, i don't get my people hate it so much on here.

OK. WOA it is. I'll get a radio ready version ready ASAP (don't worry, it will sound pro...I may not be able to remix, but I can make a damn good subtle radio mix)...hopefully tonight. Remember, don't expose me or quote me, as only you guys (and a few on Pulse) know who I really am. I go back to work with UMG at the start of the year after taking a brief break to study for the CA bar and to rethink whether I wanted to take up an offer to practice boring law (the answer: no), so don't quote me. I'll have someone like my favorite mod Doc delete these if WOA gains traction.
While I can't promise anything, I know who to contact and who are her supporters, especially at radio.
I still need a popular conduit, and need to know who I can trust. Renan? Blood Orange, would you RT one of his tweets?

I hope he does
Someone should remind Katy about his tweet on a m&g, sm, something like that. I'd die with that collab.

While I have a hard time deciding which of three songs is my favorite on Prism, "Birthday" usually winds up on top. Yeah, it's TD-era Katy, but with more sophistication. It's so hard to dislike such a fun, perfect pop song. Even when I'm skipping the first two, I think I'll skip "Birthday," and then I hear those opening chords and think "damn...this song is so good." I know I'm the only one, but i think it should've been submitted for one of the Grammys. Maybe the kids didn't rush to download it, but I know a ton of people my age (in their 20s) that still love it. I have a feeling it'll stand the test of time and be a tour staple, too (although I'm sure the routine and placement will change), despite "only" peaking outside of the top 10. A lot of songs I remember from childhood were never top 10, whereas I can't remember a lot of the songs that went to number one. Plus, radio still loves it. After TIHWD's short life (and even as soon as it was announced as a single, at least in LA, NYC, and Kansas City), depending on the week, "Birthday," "Teenage Dream," "Hot N' Cold,"or "Roar" went back into rotation like they were regular singles--by that time people were probably/finally burnt out on "Dark Horse."
