Maleficent is a cool character even though she's a villain, you love to watch to her. Then again, she wasn't really much of a villain in this movie anyway.
The make-up and costuming... Maleficent was basically an old school Hollywood production spectacle... expect La Jolie's 'Cleopatra' to be even grander!
I didn't think it would be, but that is one of (if not the) best movie I've seen all year. I didn't even see it in theaters because I though it would be bad, but it was GREAT It's spot is well deserved.
The movie was mediocre, at best, so congrats on the success. I'd say it was the story of Maleficent's perspective that brought in audiences rather any name attached to the film itself, however.
