Two families square off against each other, and the family with the most points at the end of the game wins the battle.
In the final round, the winning family goes on to answer five questions (by two different family members in two seperate rounds). You have to get 200 (or more) points to win the grand prize (which is like $10K, I think). Well, the family had 182 points after the first family member answered the questions - meaning the lady (who you saw standing with Steve) needed to only garner 18 points, and she couldn't
