Least desirable: Detroit. I've heard the people over there are mean (first hand experience), it's dangerous, and overall I wouldn't feel safe . Arizona is next, that place is too hot for anyone to live in
There are nice places in Chicago and Florida. Detroit sounds like the pits. The South, its small towns and medium-sized cities at least, is so boring. So religious and traditional too, not much to do.
Chicago actually sounds nice.. ive heard allot of good things about its beauty but allot about its crime-ridden streets. I dont want to die right now.
North Chicago is the nicest and cleanest part of any US major city! The south is the WORST however. Don't ever go there. But if you stay in downtown and north, everything will be fabulous

The violence is only limited to smaller, isolated areas of the city. And crime in those parts of the city have decreased. I love visiting & I def prefer it to other large cities like NYC
