if I had an issue with the album, it would be this: feels like during Pink Friday, she had a lot to prove and she had Kim to take down so it amped her up more; she had more energy, gave us exasperated verses and was coming for BLOOD. PFRR was what it was, half pop and half rap after she had soaked in being on top for a bit, but with this album it just seems like Nicki is trying to let us know she's been THRU some ****. I relate to moody/emotional music, but even the songs that aren't emotional, Nicki doesn't seem like she's in it the way she used to be... i think you can attribute some of it to the fact that her 'target' this time around is someone who was never / will never be on her level lyrically, so maybe Nicki feels like she didn't have to try as hard to decimate her, which she did pretty effectively IMO, but at this stage in Nicki's career, she's beyond using lines like 'kickin like a Ninja'... that's rap 101 level ****. Certain songs (Feelin Myself, Shanghai, Want Some More) you feel like she's about to blast off and leave everyone in the dust but I didn't really get that moment from my first couple of listens to the album
just a preliminary feeling but ya I think when it's all said and done I'll end up liking Pink Friday more because it holds a special place in my heart when I think of Nicki

Trying to get the male buyers. Sportscenter is a great promo spot...sales usually boost from them.
