I'm sorry, but this thread is filled with all kinds of ignorance. How can ANYONE sit there and just say that bisexuality doesn't exist? Explain to me why I feel the same attraction to both genders then, and why I have since I was a little girl. Please, do so. I'm really interested in hearing this.

I'd have to break out my textbooks from my Human Sexuality class from a few years ago to explain my rationalization for it, but there was some sort of litmus test I remember researching and writing a thesis paper on that went in-depth on statistics and studies that have been done with bisexuality and I had to discern the difference between transgenders and gays, and even brought into question hermaphrodites (and despite being born with both genders genitalia have displayed emotional and mental characteristics of only one gender).

In each instance, bisexuality was proven to be more of a psychosomatic attraction and not a physical attraction to both genders. A person's orientation relates closely to their characteristics and tendencies too, not just sexual attraction. In any case, all of the studies came to the same conclusion: that sexuality can be manipulated and easily confused. They weren't conducting these studies through hypnosis or anything, they actually had to take into account biology and behavioral science. It was sort of similar to testing how people react to placebo drugs.

Being Bi is confusing to me. You like both sexes, but the person you are going to be with until the rest of your life defines who you are i.e. straight or gay.

It really depends on the life style. But yeah if you are bi and decide to settle down with the opposite sex, yet like the same sex, it just means you are straight. At least until conflicts arise and you are not with that person again, then you are bi again:
