Males were females at one point...
Quote:
Each person essentially begins life in the womb as a female. At about eight weeks, a fetus will absorb testosterone, which will rearrange the genitals to form a penis, as well as cause the fetus to develop what are typically considered to be masucline features and characteristics. However, sometimes the transformation from female to male isn't completed, which leaves a male fetus with female tendencies (i.e. an attraction to other males)

Someone did a reserach project on Homosexuality and Homophobia and included this in the essay.
But regardless, in a serious manner, that's just really interesting. I didn't know that. I thought, actually I didn't know what I thought. I thought you had no sex when you were in the womb, at least not for a while. You were just....idk.
Weird!

Well all is true but I'm not sure whether we actually had a vagina. The sexual organs are most likely not developed at that point.

WTF. As far as i know, a transformation from female to male does not exist. Hell no. Go buy and read carefully Genetics and Embriology books.
This was desperate. You gay people trying to justify your problem. Sad.

Um, Splinter, yes it does exist. You have female organs in the womb before a transition begins where the female organs you have develop to male organs, so try again before you tell someone's wrong to have your facts straight.

Um, this is junk science.
Gender is determined at conception. If an X sperm penetrates the Egg, then the baby will be female. If the sperm is a Y, then the baby will be male.
From there, pre-embryonic structures either atrophy or develop to become the sex organs during the fetal stage of development (after 2 months).
Some of you jackasses need to read this:

Kevin.
If somebody wrote an essay concluding that our ancestors drank fish sperm from the ocean, therefore we are half-fish, he'd believe that as well -- complete with a smiley because "fish" is usually associated with vaginae.

This actually was used in a National Geographic special about human babies in the womb. All humans are females until testosterone is released, causing a female fetus to turn into a male fetus. Estrogen is released for females. If not a lot of estrogen is released, it can cause a female to be attracted to other females, same goes for testosterone for males. Not enough, then that could cause the attraction to other males. It's all part of the process. Now, at conception, after the chromosomes junk and all that (6th-8th grade junk etc), it stores the estrogen or testosterone. However, it's not actually released until about 6-8 weeks in. If there are complications, it can result into homosexuality. Come on, I'm not the only who watched that National Geographic special that aired about 20 times, am I?
Sorry, they didn't mention anything about bisexuals and transvestites.

Transvestites are only people that dress themselves as the opposite sex there's nothing hormonal about them.

My biology teacher in 10th grade taught us that if a woman reaches orgasm during conception she will most likely have a boy and if she does not reach orgasm during conception she will most likely have a girl. That sounds like a bizarre theory but I actually think there's a lot of validity to it.
Anyways, I don't rely on obscure theories to justify homosexuality. It exists naturally. Of course people get confused because people let their minds play tricks on them, or they hear Katy Perry and TATU and think that sexuality is arbitrary. The truth is, homosexuality is a natural defect, just like a physical or mental handicap, but it's completely functional.

In biology I'm learning about chromosomes and mutations. My teacher told me that gay men have something in their chromosomes that make them gay. So, if a man is gay he was born gay. They don't just wake up one day and decide they're gay.

She's right and so am I. I wonder if lesbians are also born gay. Probably not because a lot of girls like to experiment ex: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc...

Katy Perry and Lady Gaga aren't gay though. Everybody has the capacity to "experiment" because it's simply mind over matter, but yes there are natural-born lesbians.
